In short: Meeting Recorder transcribes MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, microphone recordings, and selected browser audio with Whisper in the browser. The first run downloads and caches the local model, then produces timestamped transcript lines that you can review, label, summarize, and export without sending the audio to a transcription API.

Local browser processing
The first transcription can take longer because the local Whisper model is downloaded and cached. The audio file is not sent to a transcription API.
